Vitality Running World Cup is postponed

Another event falls due to the current crisis

In light of the current situation relating to COVID-19 they have taken the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Vitality Running World Cup until further notice. They know that this will be disappointing news for many of you but the health and wellbeing of everyone taking part is their number one priority.

As a global virtual running tournament, their intention was to continue for as long as they could, however, as they have seen stricter measures introduced from the national and local public health authorities and governments from around the world, it is only right that they postpone the competition until after the pandemic to reflect the seriousness of the situation they are all facing.

They want to thank all of you for your support and for being part of a truly international competition. They had 391,000 people sign-up from 234 countries and territories around the world. Your involvement has also seen your weekly goals result in donations from Vitality to UNICEF to help vaccinate over 150,000 children.

If you have further questions please visit their Help & Support page or speak to a member of the team through our chat icon.

They will be back up and running soon.

Stay safe.
